Weekly Update: Jan 15 – Jan 26, 2018
We have been keeping busy:
- Volunteer Opportunities: Each week we look forward to helping out at The Green Legacy Nursery and Guelph Humane Society. We are working on the final details for some additional volunteer opportunities in the near future.
- In-House Programs: Arts/crafts, educational board games and computer/ IPad time.
- Out and About – Activities and Places we visited:
- The Guelph Civil Museum http://guelphmuseums.ca/venue/civic-museum/
- Mall Walk/Coffee and nature hike.
- University of Guelph Noon Concert Series. This weekly activity has been very well received. It is a chance to enjoy a variety of music genres. https://www.uoguelph.ca/arts/sofam/events

Torchlight Has Wheels!!!
2018 is off to an exciting start!
Monday January 22, 2018 we picked up our van. This 7 passenger van will allow us to get out and about even more to participate in a variety of activities near and far.
The purchase of this van was made possible by the generosity of others.
We would like to thank our anonymous Donor and friend for helping our dream become a reality…..You are amazing and we could not have done this without your kind donation! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

- Volunteer Opportunities – we are still are still volunteering at The Green Legacy and the Guelph Humane Society. We are also investigating some new volunteer opportunities for 2018.
- Internal Programs – Crafts/Art and woodworking projects.
- Torchlight Outings – Bowling – one of our favourite activities.
